Wat Phra Kaeo is the most
important temple in Bangkok. It was built when King Rama
1 was first settle in Bangkok. Wat means temple.
Phra Kaeo means the Emerald Buddha statue. Wat Phra
Kaeo is located next to Sa Nam
Luang in the same area as the Grand
Palace in the area about 200 rai. Also known as the
temple of Emerald Buddha. Consists of more than 100 building
. Most of them are older than 200 years. At the wall all
around the temple are painted with Thai art in Rattanakosin
style telling the story of Ra Ma Kien. This temple
