We were seperated in 8 groups so that
it'll be easy for the guide to describe. When we met
the guide, she started to describe a lot about the History
of this temple. Some of them I haven't known before.
And it was rainning this morning. So the trip was slowed
down for a while. I have taken a lot of photos but it
was quite dark in the morning due to the cloud. Some
of them may not have enough light.
After a long description about Wat Phra
Kaeo and the History. I went to the main building where
the Emerald Buddha is, but I'm not able to take photo
inside. Emerald Buddha change 3 costume every year which
are related to the weather in Thailand. Sunny, Rainny
and Cold.
The wall of this temple is painted with
the art which tell the story of Ra Ma Kien .
There're a lot of Chinese style doll which shown that
Thailand had a good relationship with China in the old
day. The doll was all over the temple, mostly in front
of doors.
The next part of the trip is The Grand
Palace, where tourists are only allow to see the outside
of the building. But today my school ask the permission
to get inside. It's a great opportunities for my school
students to get in there. On the ground floor, it was
the gun museum where shows a lot of gun in the past.
All of them were used for war. I've seen many style
of gun. Also one which I saw in the movie The Mexican.
On the second floor is the restrict
area. It's where the pictures of the king in the past
were and a hall where a lot of important ceremony and
diplomatic protocol was hold. Another side is a hall
which shown the picture of the Ladies who were important
in the past. Unfortunately, we're not allow to take
photo inside.
Then I went to Wat Phra Kaeo Museum.
It's were a lot of buddha statue in many action located.
Also a lot of stuff which is used in the old days. Some
of them I have never seen before. The most important,
the air condition was great.(Today was very hot outside)
The next destination was Wat
Po because we have to finish our Thai paper which
want us to discover the temple and fill the description
of the temple. Then took some photos with friends. And
it was noon. So we went to have lunch at Khaosan
Rd. Well that's the end of my school trip today...
